Hair Transplant Cost for 7100 Grafts!

I am looking to get a [tag]hair transplant[/tag] and have estimated that I will need about 7100 [tag]follicular unit grafts[/tag] to meet my goals.   How much will this cost?

The cost of [tag]hair transplantation[/tag] is dependent on a few things:

• Cost will vary  between [tag]hair restoration clinic[/tag]s.  
• Cost will vary depending on the type of [tag]hair restoration[/tag] surgery you select.   ([tag]FUT[/tag] or [tag]FUE[/tag])

The average cost for FUT  is between $4-$5 per [tag]follicular unit graft[/tag] and between  $6-$10 for FUE surgery.   Most FUT surgeons will discount after the first 2000 follicular unit grafts in a single session to approximately $2.50.  

Keep in mind however, that very few [tag]hair transplant patient[/tag]s have the [tag]hair density[/tag] and [tag]scalp laxity[/tag] to extract 7100 follicular unit grafts in a single session.   If indeed you need approximately 7100 grafts, you will  most likely have to do this in two sessions!

If you are going for strip surgery I’d estimate that the cost will be between $22,000 and $27,000.   Using FUE solely will probably cost you between $40,000-$70,000.
