Hair Transplant: Will 2000 Grafts Give Me Adequate Hair Density?
In [tag]hair transplantation[/tag], Will 2000 [tag]follicular unit grafts[/tag] placed in the front of my scalp be enough to achieve adequate [tag]hair density[/tag]?
Thank you for your inquiry.
The answer to this question depends on how you define the “front” of your scalp. 2000 [tag]hair grafts[/tag] may or may not provide the hair density you are looking for.
Whether or not 2000 follicular unit grafts will provide adequate hair density for you will ultimately depend on:
1. The [tag]balding[/tag] area to be covered
2. Your [tag]hair restoration[/tag] goals including how “dense” you want your hair to appear
3. How much [tag]native hair[/tag] or [tag]natural hair[/tag] you have left in the recipient area ([tag]hair thinning[/tag]area of the scalp receiving [tag]transplanted hair[/tag]).
4. A [tag]hair transplant patient[/tag]’s hair characteristics
For example, if you are receiving 2000 follicular unit grafts in the frontal third of your scalp assuming you were [tag]bald[/tag] in that area – at the very least, you will certainly receive a cosmetically pleasing [tag]hair transplant result[/tag] however, depending on your [tag]hair characteristics[/tag], might find yourself wanting [tag]more hair[/tag] density which can be added with a subsequent [tag]hair transplant surgery[/tag].
Posting [tag]hair transplant pictures[/tag] on our hair restoration forum will be helpful so our [tag]hair loss[/tag] forum members can accurately assess your particular situation.
