Help! I’m Not Happy With My Hair Transplant? What Can I Do to Get a Refund?
Who is the best [tag]hair transplant doctor[/tag]? My [tag]hair transplant[/tag] didn’t work that well because of poor postoperative care. What should I tell my [tag]hair transplant surgeon[/tag]. and how canI get some kind of refund? He told me he can redo my [tag]hair replacement[/tag] surgery but I don’t have confidence in him.
I can understand your concerns and I’ll address them one at a time.
Regarding the “best” [tag]hair transplant physician[/tag], there are a number of surgeons that do quality work however, there are even more who do poor quality work. Research is the key to selecting a first-rate hair transplant surgeon. At the Hair Transplant Network, we have done some of the research for you by pre-screening [tag]hair restoration physician[/tag]s. See a list of our recommended hair restoration physicians. I recommend that you do your due diligence in research any physician you are considering by looking at before/after hair transplant photos, especially those posted by real patients on our Hair Restoration Discussion Forum. Meeting [tag]hair transplant patients[/tag] in person is even better in order to make an evaluation of how it looks in person.
Regarding your current hair replacement, I recommend first contacting the [tag]hair transplant clinic[/tag] who performed your first surgery to express your concerns and wants. Be sure also that you’ve given your hair transplant at least a full year to mature before you give it a full evaluation. You can also post your experience and [tag]hair transplant photos[/tag] publicly on our hair restoration forum, contacting any any membership organizations they are a part of (example: Hair Transplant Network, [tag]International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons[/tag] – [tag]ISHRS[/tag], etc.). I have found however, that ethical hair transplant clinics will do anything they can to help a patient which may or may not include giving a partial or full refund.
In my opinion, if you have lost confidence in your surgeon, I would not go back to him/her for a second [tag]hair restoration[/tag] surgery.
I hope this helps.
