Hair Loss Myth: Daily Shampooing Causes Hair Loss
Will washing your hair daily cause [tag]hair loss[/tag]?
Though people do have a tendency to over-treat their hair, washing of hair daily will not cause hair loss. This is indeed a myth.
Here is a logical argument against this [tag]hair loss myth[/tag]…
I wash my hair daily. Of course…one could argue that washing my hair daily caused my hair to fall to fall out and become a level 6 according to the norwood scale. Let’s take a deeper look at this.
If daily washing caused hair loss then why aren’t all people (men and women) who wash their hair daily [tag]bald[/tag]? Incidentally, more women should be bald/[tag]balding[/tag] than men since women are famous for daily shampooing and conditioning.
What about the hair on the sides and back of the head? What accounts for the various [tag]hair loss pattern[/tag]s that we see? Why do some hairs hold up to washing daily while others do not?
Additionally why does [tag]hair transplantation[/tag] work? Wouldn’t daily washing and conditioning of the [tag]transplanted hair[/tag] cause fallout?
[tag]Hair loss medication[/tag] such as [tag]Propecia[/tag] ([tag]finasteride[/tag]) which is a [tag]DHT[/tag] inhibitor technically shouldn’t do anything to combat hair loss if DHT wasn’t the hormone responsible for hair loss.
The cause of [tag]hereditary hair loss[/tag] ([tag]Androgenetic Alopecia[/tag]) is genetics. To learn more about this, click here.

Daily shampoo is not a cause of hair loss but use of bad product may cause of hair fall.
