I had a [tag]hair transplant[/tag] done 2,5 months ago and I still have redness on the grafted area on my head. Is this normal?
I am very confused. There is some information online that the redness may he gone 14 days after the procedure. When I told my hair restoration physician about it he prescribed me Ciprofloxacin and I was told to take Claritin once a day. After two weeks I do not see any difference. The good news is that the new [tag]hair growth[/tag] is coming in just fine.
Is this normal to have the redness for such a long time after [tag]hair restoration[/tag] surgery? Is there any way to speed up the recovery process? Will the redness affect the new grafts?
I’ve heard that aloe vera gel or a redness reducing witch hazel can help speed recovery but I cannot vouch for their effectiveness. The redness will eventually clear up on its own.
