This question, from a member of our [tag]hair loss[/tag] social community and discussion forums, was answered by Coalition hair transplant surgeon Dr. Carlos Wesley:
I recently underwent a [tag]follicular unit extraction[/tag] ([tag]FUE[/tag]) [tag]hair transplant[/tag]. I am 6 days post-op and I feel a burning and pinching sensation in my scalp donor area. It’s nothing that I cannot bear but, on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this pain as 6-7. Is this normal?
This can help soothe any discomfort, which will resolve in time.
