Timing a Hair Transplant Around Big Events

I am a level 2 on the [tag]norwood scale[/tag] with [tag]balding[/tag] in the  crown area and recession at the front hairline.   Recently my [tag]hair loss[/tag] appears to have accelerated and I am getting sick of looking in the mirror every morning.   But I am getting married in April 2008 and can’t get time off from work until January 2008.   Should I  undergo [tag]hair transplantation[/tag] surgery in January  or should I wait until after the wedding?   My primary concern is that I want to look good at my wedding.

You may not be a good candidate for a hair transplant in the crown at this time depending on your level of hair loss. Another thing to consider is hair transplant healing and [tag]hair growth[/tag] times.   If you are going to get a hair transplant in January, though the majority of your healing will take place well before April, you will be far from the end hair transplant result by April and may even have “patchy hair growth” which is common as transplanted hair begins to grow.

In my opinion, if you want to look your BEST at your wedding, wait until after the wedding to get your [tag]hair transplant surgery[/tag].   Additionally, this will give the hair loss medication a chance to start working.
