All studies I have seen show effectiveness anywhere from .25 to 1mg. I take .25, but my body responds to medicine big time, (im AB blood type, which I think makes a difference, but that's another blog on its own.) If you don't want to swallow a pill, good HT docs are not hard to find these days, I won't endorse anyone, but the good ones show you why they are good. My doc had 3 patients meet me before I had my first(I was 27). Also realize that when/if you have the surgery young, you may need/want another.
