What Times of the Day Rogaine (Minoxidil) Application is Optimal to Treat Hair Loss
Category: Hair Loss BlogNon-surgical hair loss treatments like Propecia (finasteride) and Rogaine (minoxidil) are typically pretty good at helping men slow down, stop, or even reverse hair loss. However, in order to receive optimal benefits, proper application is important.
For men and women using Rogaine twice daily as recommended, knowing when to apply it can be difficult between showering and applying hair styling products. Is it ok to apply minoxidil in the morning and where it all day at work and play? also, can minoxidil be applied under hair gel and spray. would it still be effective to help regrow hair?

Baldo,
As long as the minoxidil is getting to your scalp, there shouldn’t be a problem wearing it for an extended period of time (though I suggest applying it as many times a day as recommended)or utilizing other hair products (though it may be a good idea to use the minoxidil first, then the styling products). Good luck!
