		<description>Matthew,

Once you&#039;ve applied Rogaine (minoxidil) to your scalp, it is recommended that you avoid getting your hair wet for a minimum of three hours.

Additionally, you should wait at least 15 minutes before applying styling products.

		<description>Fred,

The trickiest thing about applying Rogaine Foam may be getting the measurement right. While the liquid comes with a convenient dropper to accurately measure the dose, the foam requires you to estimate a 1/2 capful. Many users mistakenly believe that they are supposed to dispense the foam into the cap in order to determine the amount. This simply does not work and tends to create a mess as the foam begins to quickly dissolve. You are only supposed to use the cap size to estimate the amount dispensed into your hand. This brings up the second issue.

Rogaine foam can begin to dissolve quickly. It is suggested that you run your hand under cold tap water prior to dispensing the foam but I’ve found that two minutes in the fridge not only keeps it firm while I’m applying it but I also find that the colder temperature helps me feel where I’m applying it, giving me better coverage. It’s important to note that Rogaine should be stored at room temperature.

Once you have dispensed the correct amount into your hand, simply rub it into your crown and the top of your head separating your hair as you move along.
