How Can I Regrow My Lost Hair Caused by Dandruff?
Category: Causes of Hair Loss , Common Questions , General Hair Loss TopicsWhat is the best way to restore hair that one has lost due to excessive scalp dandruff problems? Most of my hair loss problem occurred only during last 2 winters. My family does not have any history of baldness. My dad’s almost 60 years old and he probably has more hair than I do. I do not have a receding hairline but I have lost quite a bit of hair and am somewhat clueless about what to do.
Hair loss can be caused by a number of things, and excessive dandruff or seborrehic dermatitis is one of them. The most common cause of hair loss however, is genetics!
Have you consulted with a dermatologist to find the cause of your balding condition? Without knowing the true cause of your hair loss, a proper hair loss treatment can’t be recommended.
If you are suffering from male pattern hair loss which is genetic, hair loss drugs such as Propecia (finasteride) and Rogaine (minoxidil) may help you fight hair loss and regrow hair. These hair loss medications however, should not be seen as a miracle hair loss cure.
If the cause of your hair loss is excessive dandruff or scalp irritation, sometimes reversing the process with proper treatment will restore your hair.
